How to handle the Geo-Ed Specimens Safely

Most of the specimens in the collection are able to be picked
up and examined by you as a “trainee Geologist” today.

1.A few special specimens have a DO NOT TOUCH SIGN on them as they very delicate and break very easily.

Please use YOUR EYES ONLY to examine these special specimens

2. Some specimens have a TAKE CARE sign on them as they are very heavy for their size and may easily be dropped on your toes.

3. All specimens in the collection are safe to handle.

4. Please avoid putting the specimens or your fingers in your mouth as you handle the specimens.

5. Please ensure you wash your hands at the end of today's session.
